Three are beginning a testing phase of a new technology called Enhanced Voice Services (EVS) which is to further enhance call quality and benefit our 4G calling service customers. During this testing, which is due to commence on March 23rd callers who have been placed on hold will not hear the network audio announcement to indicate this. This service will otherwise continue to operate normally and devices will also show (where applicable devices are used) that a call is on hold. This test phase will be complete by the start of May’23 and the call hold audio indicator will resume at this time.
