Three Prepay Data Add ons

Add on Rules

These Rules are in addition to the General Terms for Services and any other terms provided to you as part of the authorisation process completed by you to approve registration and provision of Services. The following Three Prepay Data Add ons are available

• 500MB Add on for €4.99 per 28 day period (no longer available since 28.04.23)

• 1GB Add on for €9.99 per 28 day period.

This Add on charge is a recurring charge i.e. it will apply every 28 days. Your Three Prepay Data Add on lasts for the defined period (i.e. 28 days) or until the Add on data allowance is reached (whichever is sooner).

The Three Prepay Data Add ons are available to any Three Prepay voice customer who texts ‘5NET’ to 50272 for the 500MB Add on or ‘10NET’ to 50272 for the 1GB Add on. To activate your Three Prepay Data Add on your Three Prepay service you need to switch your phone off and back on. The Add on data allowance is for use in the Republic of Ireland and when roaming in EU and charges will apply when roaming out of the EU Zone. There is no carry over of any unused data allowance from one period to the next. To check your remaining allowance at any time you should visit My3.

We will notify you when the 28 day period is due to expire and advise when the next charge will be deducted. If you use your allowance of data within the 28 day period then we will text you before you reach the data limit and again when you reach 100%. You will be placed on standard Three Prepay data prices until your next recurrence date however you can text to 50272 to reactivate the Add on in advance of your next recurrence and a new Add on period will commence. At any time you can cancel an Add-on via My3 and the cancellation request will take effect when your current Add on period expires or when you have used your data allowance (whichever is sooner). Standard pricing will then apply.

If you have insufficient credit when the Three Prepay Data Add on is due for renewal you will be advised by text. We will try again to apply your add on the next day and if unsuccessful we will try again in 28 days (your next renewal date).You will be placed on standard Three Prepay data prices until your next recurrence date however once you top up, you can text your Add on selection to 50272 to reactivate the Add on in advance of your next recurrence and a new Add on period and recurrence date will commence. Once you have topped up with the sufficient amount you will be required to text your Add on selection to 50272 to reactivate the Add on.

You can only have one recurring data Add-on at any one time. You may purchase and apply more than one once-off data Add-on to your account. However you may not apply the same once-off Add-on at the same time. For information on once-off Add-ons see My3.

Three Prepay Blackberry customers can avail of Blackberry Services on their Blackberry device using the Three Prepay Data Add on.

Blackberry Services are available on Blackberry devices only. To avail of the Blackberry Services you need to request the Three Prepay Data Add on and you will then be asked text BLACK to 50272. Your data allowance can be used to access Blackberry services whilst in ROI and when roaming in EU and charges apply when roaming out of EU Zone. You will lose access to Blackberry Services if you cancel your Add on or you do not use Blackberry services for a 60 day period.

The Rules for the Three Prepay Data Add on may be varied or amended by Three for any reasonable commercial technical or operational reason.
